Neglected Blog
I have ignored my blog site in favor of becoming a Facebook whore. The good news is, all of the dramatic events in my recent life (losing job, losing best friend/booty call man, meeting birth family, bank-draining legal order, cancer scare, etc etc) happened within 6 weeks of each other, and I am now slowly but surely getting over it. Hence, there is no reason to bore anyone with depressing details.
Important note of the day: I saw Justin Bieber sing for the first time on American Idol last night, and I'm happy to say that I can't stand him for real now, instead of just basing my dislike on that completely WRONG hairdo.

People
There are people who can walk away from you. And hear me when I tell you this! When people can walk away from you: let them walk. I don't want you to try to talk another person into staying with you, loving you, calling you, caring about you, coming to see you, staying attached to you. I mean hang up the phone. When people can walk away from you let them walk. Your destiny is never tied to anybody that left. People leave you because they are not joined to you. And if they are not joined to you, you can't make them stay. Let them go! And it doesn't mean that they are a bad person, it just means that their part in the story is over. And you've got to know when someone's part in your story is over so that you don't keep trying to raise the dead. You've got to know when it's dead. You've got to know when it's over.
Long time...back soon
Because I am about to become jobless (or, as I like to call it, "job-FREE"), I will be doing a lot of gardening this spring. Be prepared for lots of pictures of mud and then seedlings and then plants and THEN the Real Things. As long as we don't have a f*ckwad of a growing season like last year, that is, because that means there will be very few pictures of the Real Things. Regardless of the wad rating of the weather, I will be outside every single minute that I can be, celebrating life and growth, and cheesy stuff like that. And hopefully some other festive things will happen, cuz pictures of plants are just not that fascinating. Bring it on.
And NONE OF THESE ARE ALLOWED IN MY GARDENS!:

My weird thought of the day:
Pat Sajak seems to love saying, "I'm going to give the wheel a final spin," and then doing it with serious force - like he's thinking to himself, "I OWN this game, b*tches!" It's kinda sad to watch.
Like maybe during the whole game, he's reminding himself that soon, SOON, he will be the one spinning.

Lost, but not gone...
...forever, anyway. I'm gonna start writing again soon. I need the outlet. I need an inlet. Right now, I need a scotch.
